FRC team were honored to attend the SEE Global Sustainability Summit 2024 in SEE Institute , SGSS is the first international SEE summit on net-zero solutions and circular economy with the presence of various leaders, experts, researchers and pioneers of sustainability. Dr. François Mitterand Tsombou from FRC presented research article "Water scarcity and higher temperatures affecting the behaviour, the chemical composition and the antimicrobial activities of one of the most important native plants of UAE: Senna italica that has been accepted for presentation at SEE Global Sustainability Summit. The paper evaluates the capacity of survival of Senna italica considering many plants attributes and antimicrobial activities under net house and field conditions during the hot summer of Fujairah. The obtained findings demonstrate that the tested plant could be used for many afforestation projects in arid regions. In addition, the current work also indicate that plants growing under extreme environmental conditions possess high antimicrobial activities than the other. It was an inspiring gathering where leaders from diverse backgrounds converged to share insights and projects aimed at advancing sustainability.
